I would like to welcome you to the only website dedicated to Britain's Original Blonde Bombshell.

 

Even though Evelyn was of course American, she became a big star in Britain after bandleader Bert Ambrose saw her perform as lead in the Monte Carlo Follies in London.  .

You will find as much information and photographs I have collected over a number of years. You will see that she was a busy lady in her all too short career, as she decided to retire in 1946.
